Accommodation enquiries
When you send us an enquiry, we keep the details you enter (name, e-mail, phone if given, dates, number of guests and your message) so that we can reply and prepare an offer. The legal basis is your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep enquiries for two years and then delete them.
Visits without consent
For each page view we record only which page it was, when, from which country (worked out from the IP address, which is then discarded), where you came from (for example a search engine), the type of device and the browser language. We store no IP address, no cookie and no identifier, so these records can only be used for totals and cannot be linked to a person. We do this in our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used and whether it works (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to this: if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we do not record such page views at all.
Visitor statistics with consent
If you agree to statistics in the cookie bar, we store a statistics cookie and also record your IP address, the approximate city and region derived from it, the order of the pages you view, the time spent on each, how far you scroll, which links and buttons you click (phone, e-mail, map, enquiry) and whether you come back. We do not link enquiries you send us to this data. The location is looked up on our own server and the IP address is not sent to any third party. The legal basis is your consent (§ 109(8) of Slovak Act No. 452/2021 on electronic communications and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time in the Cookies section below or with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect processing before it.
How long we keep data
Visit records are deleted after 13 months. Stored IP addresses are shortened after 6 months so that they no longer point to a specific connection. Your cookie choice is remembered for 12 months, after which we ask again. A record of when and how you chose is kept for 13 months as proof of consent.
Who has access
We process the data. Our web hosting and e-mail providers store it for us as processors.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data and to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object. Just write to info@aurorajasna.sk. We make no automated decisions. Providing data is voluntary; without it we simply cannot reply to an enquiry.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak data protection authority.
Cookies
Necessary cookies are needed for the site to work and need no consent. Others are stored only with your consent, which you can change here at any time.
Your current choice: not chosen yet
- Necessary, no consent needed: they remember the language you chose (until you close the browser) and your choice in the cookie bar (12 months). While you fill in the enquiry form, they keep its technical session (until you close the browser).
- Statistics, only with your consent: a random number by which we recognise a return visit (12 months, at most until your consent ends).
Location from IP addresses is looked up in the database IP Geolocation by DB-IP (CC BY 4.0).
